Who we are

WashMinute connects customers with independent car-wash and cleaning professionals. This policy explains which personal data we handle when you use our website and app, and why.

What we collect

Account and booking data: your phone number, name, optional email, the addresses and location you enter or share for a booking, your vehicle details, messages in the booking chat, photos, ratings, and the record of your cash payment.

Technical data needed to run the service, such as your session and language preferences.

With your consent only: page statistics and anonymous session recordings (PostHog), and advertising measurement (Meta). See the cookie policy.

How we use it

To create your account and check your phone number with a code, to match you with a professional, to run and support your booking, to keep the platform safe, and to meet our legal obligations.

Who receives it

The professional who accepts your request sees what is needed to do the job: your first name, the address and your vehicle.

Service providers that help us run the platform, such as hosting, maps and address search (Google Maps), and notifications.

PostHog (statistics and recordings) and Meta (advertising measurement), only if you accept them.

Statistics and advertising

Statistics (PostHog): we count page visits and, if you accept session replay, we record how the home page and the booking screens are used. What you type is hidden, and we never identify you in these tools.

Advertising (Meta): we tell Meta when someone visits the booking flow, sends a request, or when a booking is created, so we can measure our ads. After you send a request, we also send your phone number in hashed form, your IP address and browser information so Meta can match the event to an ad. Meta is responsible for its own use of this data under its own policy.

These tools can process data outside your country, for example in the European Union or the United States.

How long we keep it

Account and booking data: as long as your account is active, then for the period the law requires.

Statistics: up to 12 months. Session recordings: up to 30 days. Advertising identifiers stored with a request: up to 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to object to its use, and to withdraw your consent at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Contact us through the Help Center. You can also complain to the personal data authority of your country.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we will ask for your choices again.
